'Finding the Beauty in Decay' is an original mixed media piece created on a vintage piece of flower pressed art I found in a charity shop. This piece is constructed using a range of materials including dried and pressed flowers from my collection as well as air dry clay and artficial moss. The 7 types of mushrooms are all based on UK species and are all individuallly handmade and painted.
 
The frame has been updated with a matte black finish with gold rim but of course as its vintage, still shows some signs of wear and tear.
