Rubes is a typical countryside girly, her raincoat and wellies being the key part of all her outfits. She loves a rainy day of reading, baking and sipping tea, then an even walking and a whole lot of puddle jumping!
 
The crafty bit...
Ruby is made from air hardening clay and stands on a wood slice in a handmade hot-melt adhesive puddle with raindrops. Her yellow raincoat is painted faux leather and sealed for a shiny finish just like her red wellies. A fabric covered, cardboard umbrella with a wooden handle stands next to her.
